You Get What You Pay For

It cracks me up when people complain about LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter making changes to their layouts or Google making changes to their algorithms (whatever that means right?).  Because how much do you pay to use these social media and search engine services?

So the upside is that you are getting a tremendous amount of technology and access to thousands of people for free. The downside, is that you have no control over what these systems do to their platforms or your information.  Because you pay zero.  (Drop the mic).

It remind me lot of cable TV when they first got started, at that time we got what we paid for! Now, we pay to watch commercials! Which has very little personal value to me! Looks like these companies are on the same path of operations. They baite you and then switch on you! You can put and ad sign, on the side on your car door; and drive down the freeway giving you access to hundreds of people everyday, but if the people that see it, don’t have a desire or need for your product or service, its useless, the same whole true for high price the internet technology!
